Luiza Balan

Trainee Legal Cashier

Luiza joined Bude Nathan in 2016, and has worked in the accounts department since 2020. Luiza is responsible for the day to day financial, transactions and supporting the firm in all its various accounts needs.  

Luiza is working towards qualifying as a Legal Cashier.

pooja Parmar

Deputy Office Manager

Pooja has been a part of the Bude Nathan Iwanier LLP team for over 25 years.  She started off as a Junior Receptionist and has worked her way up to a Legal Secretary and then a Personal Assistant.  She is also our Deputy Practice Manager.  

 

Ruchoma Bernstein

Trainee Solicitor

Ruchoma is a trainee solicitor who joined the firm in September 2022, having completed the LPC LLM at the University of Law.

Nathan Iwanier

Trainee Solicitor

Jacob is a Trainee Solicitor who joined Bude Nathan Iwanier LLP in 2022, after completing the LPC at BPP University in Holborn with distinction.

Having previously received his B.Sc. Hons Degree in Business Management & Marketing from Touro College in New York City, Jacob has acquired knowledge as well as a passion for the legal side of business and investment.

He is currently gaining experience in the firm’s conveyancing department, where he assists the senior solicitors in a wide range of commercial and residential property transactions.

Chaim Weiss

Trainee Solicitor

Chaim is a Trainee who joined Bude Nathan Iwanier LLP in 2020.

He is gaining experience in the conveyancing department where he is involved in both commercial and residential property transactions. He acts alongside and assists the senior solicitors in the sale, letting and refinance of investment portfolios.

Sholom Toron

Solicitor

Sholom joined Bude Nathan Iwanier as a trainee solicitor in December 2019, having completed his LLB (Hons) at Birkbeck University. He is currently studying the LPC and LLM at BPP University and qualified in May 2022.

Devorah Moses

Solicitor

Devorah qualified as a solicitor in April 2018 after gaining experience at this firm in conveyancing, litigation and private client. Devorah’s practice is primarily focused on residential and commercial conveyancing. In her commercial work Devorah has gained experience in the grant of new commercial Leases and Licences. Devorah has also been involved in large complex refinances. In her litigation work Devorah has worked as part of a team in a number of large cases and has gained considerable experience in possession and rent arrear proceedings. Devorah is a fluent French speaker.

Michel Pollak

Solicitor

Motti is a Solicitor who joined Bude Nathan Iwanier LLP as a Trainee Solicitor in 2017. He was admitted after studying the LPC at BPP University while having completed his Training Contract with the firm.

He has gained experience in the conveyancing department where he is involved in both commercial and residential property transactions. He advises our commercial clients on general landlord and tenant law and has acted alongside qualified solicitors on the sale and refinance of investment portfolios. In relation to our residential property department, Motti has acted on property sales and purchases and both freehold and leasehold transactions.

Motti is also gaining extensive experience in our private client department where he advises clients on probate and will matters.

David Spitzer

Solicitor

David has been with BNI since 2018, having previously worked in the diamond trading sector.
David advises a variety of clients including developers, investors and banks in the full range of
property and corporate finance transactions, covering acquisitions, disposals, development, finance,
restructuring and investment management work.
Since joining the firm, David has established a substantial client base in the London investment
property market, a following based on admiration for his speed of response in dealing with time-
sensitive transactional matters and for his meticulous yet common sense approach to providing legal advice.
David also has Higher Rights of Audience, and is entitled to appear as an advocate before the High
Court, the Court of Appeal (civil proceedings), and the Supreme Court.

Natalie Lervine

Solicitor

Natalie was admitted as a solicitor in 2013, having completed her training contract at Linder Myers in Manchester. Natalie specialises in general commercial litigation and property litigation, with a focus on residential and commercial Landlord/Tenant disputes. She has particular experience in debt and service charge recovery in both residential and commercial property. Natalie also has experience regarding 1954 Act lease renewals, dilapidations, possession and order for sale proceedings and has dealt with matters in both the First-Tier Tribunal and the Court.

Susannah Noimark

Solicitor

Susannah was admitted as a Solicitor in September 2003. She joined Bude Nathan Iwanier LLP (formerly Bude Nathan Iwanier) in 2005 from Schillings and now works as a Consultant. Susannah specialises in property litigation and general commercial litigation and acts for a wide range of individual and corporate clients. She has particular experience in injunction work, mediation and arbitration.

Susannah works for private clients and for large property holding groups in respect of residential and commercial landlord and tenant disputes, the collection of ground rent and service charges, Party Wall Act disputes and matters in the First Tier Tribunal.

Simon Dadia

Fee Earner

Simon joined the firm in 2014 after setting up a successful immigration practice in North London and has since gained extensive litigation experience with a particular emphasis on Landlord and Tenant disputes.

Simon’s main workload lies in the conveyancing department where he advises clients on a wide range of residential and commercial transactions.

Jenny Figa

Solicitor

Jenny completed her law degree at University College London and qualified as a Solicitor. She also qualified as an Attorney in the United States.
Jenny has experience in both litigation and conveyancing and her practice is primarily focused on residential and commercial conveyancing and cases relating to Leasehold Enfranchisement.
Jenny is a fluent French speaker.

Liron Zagori

Solicitor

Liron joined our firm in 2006 having completed a Law degree in University College London. Liron was admitted as a solicitor in October 2008 and works in our litigation department.
Liron’s litigation work includes all areas of commercial and residential Landlord and Tenant law, involving construction and enforcement of leasehold covenants, consents, service charges, disrepair, and forfeiture.
Liron is frequently involved in work with the First-Tier Tribunal and undertakes both civil and commercial high court litigation including extensive dilapidations work and insolvency proceedings.
Liron also has considerable experience in both opposed and unopposed lease renewal proceedings and enforcement action, primarily involving Order for Sale proceedings.
Liron speaks fluent Hebrew and has had the opportunity of working with several Israeli clients.

Joel Raivid

Head of Finance

Joel qualified as a Legal Cashier having passed his institute of Legal Finance & Management (ILFM) Diploma with Merit. He went on to become Head of Accounts at our firm in December 2011. Since then, aside from his daily duties, he has overseen our changing of banks and more recently was heavily involved in the entity transfer from the old partnership to the LLP. Outside of work, Joel is a trustee and director of a local synagogue.

Maureen Byrne

Practice Manager

Maureen is our Practice Manager and has been at BNI LLP for over 30 years, initially as PA to Aron Bude, one of the founding solicitors. She studied at CILEX and successfully completed her Legal Executives I Examinations. Maureen is very involved in her local community and has sat for 5 years as a Magistrate in North West London Magistrates Court. She is a qualified Life Coach certified by The International Coach Federation. Her interests include films and literature.

Daniel Homburger

Solicitor

Daniel Homburger joined the real estate department of Bude Nathan Iwanier in 2001 following four and a half year’s post qualification experience at Allen & Overy. He specialises in all aspects of commercial real estate, investment, sales and acquisitions, and real estate finance. He advises on major commercial property acquisitions and disposals as well as high value commercial lettings, whether acting for landlords or tenants and other major commercial real estate transactions including developments. His experience includes dealing with the property requirements of a large high street retailer.

Samuel Pariente

Consultant

Shimmie is a Consultant solicitor who has been with the firm since September 2004 following his training with City firm D J Freeman. He specialises in most aspects of commercial and residential conveyancing and general landlord & tenant law and practice, acting on sales/acquisitions of commercial, retail, mixed use and residential premises. He also deals with all aspects of portfolio management including 1954 Act renewals and proceedings. Shimmie has particular expertise in Leasehold Enfranchisement, the Right to Manage and the Right of First Refusal, including taking and defending FTT and court proceedings. Shimmie has a wide client base acting for both landlords and tenants ranging from PLCs to large property companies, and private investors. In recognition of Shimmie’s outstanding work in the field of Enfranchisement the firm was awarded the ACQ5 award for Regional Property Law Firm of the Year (Leasehold Enfranchisement) 2016.

Bernard Dubiner

Consultant

Booky studied law at University College London and graduated in the year 1999 before taking the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law. He joined Bude Nathan Iwanier in 2000. Booky specialises in commercial and residential property working on a broad range of transactions across all disciplines. He acts on the purchase and sale of Investment properties, portfolio restructuring and financing as well as general landlord and tenant transactions for commercial retail clients. He also advises on landlord and tenant law, in particular business tenancies and the new changes to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.

Jonathan Kandler

Consultant

Jonathan was admitted as a Solicitor in May 1983. He joined Bude Nathan Iwanier (now LLP) as a Consultant in November 1994 and heads up Litigation Department. His work for large property groups and private clients has included both residential and commercial Landlord and tenant disputes work with the First Tier Property Tribunal and collection of ground rent and service charges, as well as dealing with cases concerning assured shorthold tenants and tenants protected under The Rent Act.

Samuel Iwanier

Partner

Shmuli joined this firm as a trainee solicitor in 2011. He has been a qualified solicitor since April 2015. Shmuli is involved with residential and commercial conveyancing and has particular focus on the purchase, sale and refinance of investment properties. He is also involved in landlord and tenant matters such as the grant of lease extensions and proceedings under the Landlord and Tenants Acts of 1954 and 1987 and the Housing Act 1988.

I obtained my degree at the City of London Polytechnic and went to Grangewoods for articles. I joined Bude Nathan Iwanier in 1992. With over 30 years experience I am still learning something new most days. I advise a wide range of commercial property clients.

Nathan Iwanier

Senior Partner

Nathan is one of the founding partners at Bude Nathan Iwanier. He qualified as a solicitor in 1976 and following qualification worked at Kuit Steinart Levy until 1981. In 1981 Nathan joined the partnership at R G Freeman & Co until he set up partnership at Bude Nathan Iwanier in 1989. Nathan specialises in commercial and residential property as well as commercial Landlord and Tenant work.
